I could explain the name I chose for this site in two ways. The first way would be to tell you, just like Hard lemonade is lemonade with a kick, the kick in that case being alcohol, my web applications give websites a kick, the kick here being Active Server Pages.

With Active Server Pages (ASP), all code is executed on the server. That means all you ever see is HTML on your browser. This is very powerful, because it means that I can write programs on the web that anyone can use, regardless of what browser they have.

ASP brings dynamic content to your web pages. The page that is displayed can be based on who the user is and what they need. For example, a realtor could show a user listings for condos that accept pets, and another user may see single family homes within 5 miles of their new job, even though they both went to the same page for information.

With HTML, you would need to have a different page for every category, and you would not have any information stored on your customer. Your website would not know who they are or what they want. ASP lets you give personalized up-to-date information all the time for anyone by remembering your users.

ASP allows you to connect to databases for storing, editing and retrieving information. The database is the true power behind e-commerce. A Website without database connectivity is not suitable for a true e-business solution. Database connectivity allows you to have a relationship with the people who visit you online.
